We have taken great care to preserve the trees planted in the garden many years ago. They now provide us with excellent harvests of old varieties of figs, apples, walnuts, almonds, blackberries and cherries.

The lavender we have planted has been tended without using herbicide and is harvested in the traditional manner: we cut it with a scythe and dry it in the upright position before sending it to a family distillery in Apt. We use the essential oil we produce to scent our house.

Out of sight of casual passers-by, we raise bees, taking the best possible care to meet their biological needs. They enrich our environmental biodiversity and supply us with lavender and Garrigue honey that you will be able to enjoy at the breakfast table.

Our vegetable garden, now shared with Laurent and Philippe, provides us with ingredients for our ratatouille, pistou soups, tarts and a variety of salads for our table d'hôte.
Laurent, a professional gardener, is gradually initiating us in the wonderful life-giving process based on the principles of agroecology and permaculture.
